Atlas series is a continually unfolding field of abstract marks in which images flow, overlap, converge, and transfigure each other forming and dissolving contents embedded in them. Images composed in these works are extracted from daily news and other visual information gathered from various sources. Images are selectively traced and composed together to create a long linkage of diverging visual narratives. I think of tracing as a way of excavating fragments of events hidden behind the main scene of the images.  When the drawings are displayed three-dimensionally, overlapping images creates a sense of floating mass that gradually reveals its content as the viewer gets closer to them.
